Oh okay guys welcome back so we’ve talked about the tool that is the autoresponder which is very much the workhorse of your entire funnel it’s the thing that connects everything together.
It directs your customers to where you want them to go it allows you to build a relationship with them communicate with them now we’re going to talk about the two tools that get them onto your email list the two tools that you use for your squeeze pages which are the most important thing that you can probably take out of this entire course obviously the market research is key.
If you want to really expand your business long term and really make the most of every step of your business but the most immediately scalable and the most easily testable part of this entire process is the squeeze page is why we focus so intensely on getting the conversions up here because bigger conversions here mean more people on your list and on the other side it also means cheaper traffic okay so that’s what this is all about and the two tools that we’re going to be looking at to do that which I thoroughly recommend and I use myself and like I say we will be using these as examples are leadpages and optimized press now both of them first both of them are effective and both of them are very easy to use leadpages has the added benefit of easy split testing and this is leadpages.
So for example I want to quickly put up a an opt-in form or a squeeze page I come in here they have multiple templates in here which we can get into a little bit later but I’ll give you a heads up the opt-in form that we’re going to use is the most basic the most simple the easiest fastest crazily ridiculously ugly switch page that we can find when you use that because it consistently converts higher than all of these other pages all of these other templates and we thing about starting small is that once we because we stripped everything away we know what’s working and what isn’t working and we can then add if we’ve got a thousand elements on that squeeze page and it’s not working then we have to start subtracting elements from that squeeze page to try and find out what it is that’s working and that might mean we might have to take away 999 of those elements until we work out what it is the final one by process of elimination that could take us forever whereas if we start with nothing the real basics then all we need to do is add you know and add and add until we can optimize it to the best of its ability so this is what we start and this how quickly it is to set up the squeeze page so we just select the one that we want which is this super basic and this is essentially the page now.
What we do is we click on the area that we want to change 100% free t-shirt and we can change the headline you know this isn’t gonna be the headline this is just by way of example and then we can add in our opt-in form and you have to integrate with your opt-in forms so it’s as simple as choosing your service and then choosing the list that you want to put it on now I’m not going to do that here because no no those are relevant at this point and then if you want to hide elements or change elements on here you can do that okay and that is it once you’ve done that all you do is you come up here and you publish it where you save it and then you publish it now I’m not going to do that for this because there’s a little bit more to do but that’s essentially it that will be your squeeze page you can then add conversion goals to that and you can add the Thank You page.
So that’s what we’re going to be getting to in a bit okay and then once you have this page you can create variations of it right in here so maybe give you an example of this so for this page for example I’m running two variations one of them is converting at 48 percent the other one is converting at 53 percent and if I open the two variations you see they’re very very similar what I matched I’ve actually worked out that this headline is the one that’s working for me.
So I’m keeping that and I’m in the process of testing this sub-headline up here okay so you can see here I have free video training and here I have free free set video training series and cheat sheets and this one is actually converting at about ten percent more so I’m just watching that at the moment that’s the kind of thing that you can do with leadpages very very simply very very quickly very very effectively and obviously going forwards they have all of these other templates that we’ve got up here got Thank You pages got webinar pages all of this kind of slightly more advanced stuff that we will be touching on very very lightly that you can get into should you want to but the beautiful thing about this is that we’re going to be starting off with the most simple of templates and you will see how well they convert okay so that’s leadpages the other tool that we’re going to be using optimize press now optimize press allows you to build pretty much any kind of squeeze page that you want and not just a squeeze page but funnels so is you have complete control you can build your entire funnel in there from squeeze page to blog content to videos you can host videos in there you can put entire launch secrets in there you can connect it up to PayPal or excuse me or other shopping carts it’s the whole shebang okay now you only thing it doesn’t have is that split testing functionality that leadpages does have now we’re going to be using Facebook traffic and you can track your conversions within Facebook but they’re not as an exact as they are with leadpages leadpages allows you to do that split testing as well where you’re put all the different variations is a little bit more complicated when you try to do that with optimized press but optimized press like I say it gives you so much a scope to create pages exactly as you want in you may or may not want to do this but when it comes to delivering your content then this is the kind of thing that you want because it makes it so easy so for example this tripwire sales page was built in optimize press very very quickly you it’s very much just drag-and-drop I’ll show you the real beauty of optimize press is that you can do it pretty much exactly what you want whereas with the leadpages.
You might struggle to add elements you can hide elements but you might not be able to add elements if this I’m very specific that you want on there but for what it’s worth I have all of my squeeze pages that I use and they had success with have come from leadpages with that basic template and you can see here so this is inside the optimize press editor bullet points up in here just got everything that you need if you want to change something you can just come in you know any changer and then you would just save that and it would reflect back in here once it’s been saved okay and you there’s nothing the optimized press cannot do you know the only thing that leadpages has over it is the split testing functionality.
Now if I had to give you advice I would give you the advice of using leadpages for your squeeze pages which is what you’re going to be watching me do and usually mop supplies press to build out these sales pages and deliver your contents if you need to do some audios for example or if you need to put some videos in then this is just the thing for you okay so I’m not going to try and sell those that’s not my job those are the tools that I use they’re both superb I’m going to give you the links for those and you well advise to use them especially if you’re gonna be pushing on through this course and you know yeah as you probably know even this course that we’re doing now it’s all built-in optimize press.
So if you are looking to put a membership site towards anything at the back end if you are looking to create blog posts to share to people with people you’re looking to do anything where you’re directing people back to online content you really want to strongly consider optimize press this was put together very very quickly maybe a couple of hours it took me to put this together not all of the recording obviously but actually just the web page okay so yeah that’s my 20 cents worth of information on those two things that is the end of the tools so to recap also responder absolutely essential if you don’t have one off you want to change to one or if you’re sitting on the fence and you just don’t want to take action because it all seems too complicated and you don’t want to put the wrong foot forward forget about it just jump on to Aweber and stay there until you maybe get to the point where you’re a massive company and you can afford the thousands of dollars a month something like Infusionsoft that’s all you need to know about that the other two bits of software leadpages for your squeeze pages.
First simple you can have them up in minutes and you can split test them and you can see your make sure it’s coming back to you very very quickly and very very easily that’s worth its weight in gold for all of your content pages for any kind of content you wants to deliver any blog posts any videos any audios any sales pages any download pages any membership sites optimized press does it all for you and it does it for it’s like a one-time payment with optimized press so that’s a real no-brainer and those are the tools that I’m going to be using those are the tools that I want to familiarize you with and those are the tools that I’ve had plenty of success with and I hope you have equals success with okay so those are the tools next up we are going to be getting on to some other little pages that you need to think about and then we’re going to actually set up some in fact we won’t do the Forgotten pages first we will just jump straight in in the next videos and start making the squeeze pages and then I’ll just naturally cover the Forgotten pages as we go people don’t pay enough attention to their Thank You pages or their confirmation pages so I’m just going to go through that with you quickly on the fly and then once that is done we are going to look at split testing you.
