Beta trial seems to be moving along well - a workable system that keeps working :-)

Additional features that would be useful:

Ability to add an RSS link
Contact forms with captcha
Since "Terms" and "Privacy" pages are fairly standard for most people, why offer boiler plate copy that people can implement.
Some type of CSS GUI editor

Many of SP's features (with the exception of the linking redirects and CSS editor) are available in a standalone php program called KSEO v2.0. Because KSEO is actually loaded on the server, it can implement the RSS links and the contact forms with captchas. The difference: KSEO requires techie knowledge to get it installed and tinker around with it - This is where SP helps out the entrepreneur.

What both lack is the ability to graphically work with the style sheets for customization. Jeff Walters and his "rapid formatter" (site witheld out of courtesy for SP - you can find it if you go looking) have a good start on this, but his solution is kind of pricey for the budding entrepreneur. The ability to make CSS changes and see a preview are nice.

Someday - someone is going to create a GUI web design tool that allows users to easily create div's attaching them to style sheets. DreamWeaver has a start on this, but I'm still using v6 - and I think they're at v8 now.

Maybe SP will do it - or maybe KSEO v3.0 (if it ever comes out - been advertised for 10 months now and the programmer stopped responding to my emails).

For now - I'll work with SP because it does import TZ data directly and I can make changes in one spot and it handles all the uploading for me. No waiting for FTP to finish! Almost like having a server side editor.

Hello,
We're doing our best to make sure everything keeps on working. The first month has given us a lot of information on actual usage so we'll be ready to scale up the system as needed to ensure everyone has the best QOS possible.

By adding an RSS link you mean specify a feed and have the system insert the meta tag for that feed on the pages? You can do that manually via the template editor... Something like this:
Quote
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="My RSS" href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/sptestfeed" />

Or did you mean having the system produce a feed and inserting a link to it?

Captcha is a good idea.

I've been thinking about how to facilitate the template and stylesheet editing process. Implementing color palettes and other widgets may come in handy. Perhaps a AJAX interface...

I'm very committed to maintaining a high level of service for Silo Publisher. Whether we have 50 users or 5000 users, I want our members to feel like they're getting the same level of care/service.
SP is more than a web publishing service. It's like the commercial with the tax software... with SP, you've got people... not some software that gets outdated after a few months.

My goal for SP is to make it as user-friendly as possible while following strict TMP guidelines for siloing and LSI. So our system is truly evolving alongside TMP.

Thanks for pointing all that out.

Hi I've found this program pretty easy to use to alter templates, style sheets and html

Thanks for the link.

I definitely would rather use an existing tool than recreate the wheel.

Thanks
